Objective and Function

This cyber platform (i.e. Learning Management System: LMS) is to serve as a web-based basic learning management tool on the ANENT web-portal for the promotion of education and training in nuclear technology primarily for the ANENT members and non-members as well.

Therefore, the platform provides functions to cover the whole range of learning management process cycle as well as practically diverse cases and types as follows:

• learning case: academic courses, training courses, seminars/workshops/meetings, self learning
• learning management process cycle: course establishment, registration, learning, post-learning
• learning delivery type: on-line, off-line, blended (real time web-based learning is not considered in this task)
• learning contents type: VOD, multimedia, voice
• learning management type: open, approved, closed (self learning corresponds to open course)
• learning recognition type: self learning, pass-fail, credit based.
